Thank you for considering Garuda Yantra. These terms describe how we provide our services and what each of us can expect from the other. We have tried to write them in plain English rather than dense legal language, because a customer who understands the arrangement is a happier customer — and an easier one for us to look after well. If anything below is unclear, please do ask. We would far rather explain it now than have it come as a surprise later.
Garuda Yantra Technologies is a software company based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. These terms apply to our cloud-hosted business applications — including Garuda HR (our HRMS and HCM platform), Garuda ERP, and the companion mobile applications — referred to together here as the "Services".
By subscribing to or using the Services, you agree to these terms on behalf of your organisation. If you are still evaluating us, you are very welcome to look around first: our live demonstration environment is open to everyone.
We do not offer a free trial period, and we would rather say so plainly here than let you discover it at checkout. What we offer instead we think is more useful: our live demonstration environment is available around the clock, loaded with a complete sample company, and needs no sign-up, no card details and no sales conversation. You can explore every screen you would use in production before you decide anything at all.
If you would like to see the platform against your own scenarios before committing, do please ask. We are always glad to arrange a guided walkthrough.
Current prices are published in full on our pricing page. Should we ever change them, existing customers will have at least 30 days' notice before the change applies to their renewal.
Invoices are raised in advance of each billing period and are payable by the due date shown. A GST invoice is issued for every payment.
Please do note: subscription fees and setup fees are non-refundable, including for a period already paid for. We would much rather you knew that clearly before subscribing than found it in the small print afterwards — and it is precisely why we keep the demonstration environment open to all, publish every price in full, and encourage you to take as long as you need before deciding.
You are free to cancel whenever you wish. Your service simply continues to the end of the period you have already paid for and will not renew after that. There is no cancellation charge and no notice period to serve.
For anything to do with invoices, purchase orders, TDS certificates or payment references, please write to billing@garudayantra.com and we will gladly sort it out.
Everything you and your people put into the Services — employee records, attendance, payroll, documents and the rest — remains your organisation's data. We hold and process it in order to provide the Services to you, and for no other purpose. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to build products for anyone else.
We ask only what any provider would: please do not attempt to breach or test the security of the platform without our agreement, resell access without a partnership arrangement, use the Services unlawfully, or upload material you have no right to.
If you believe you have found a security issue, we would genuinely like to hear from you and will thank you for it — please write to security@garudayantra.com, and see our security.txt for how we handle reports.
You are responsible for keeping your users' credentials safe and for activity under your account. Do tell us promptly if something looks amiss and we will help you put it right.
The Services are hosted on infrastructure located in India. We work hard to keep everything running and your data safely backed up, and we aim for 99.9% availability — though, like any honest provider, we cannot promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside Indian business hours wherever we can manage it, and we will always tell you in advance.
Each plan includes a stated level of support and a number of included support hours. Where a request would go beyond that, we will tell you before any additional work begins — never afterwards, and never on the invoice first.
Running a platform of this kind involves a small number of specialist service providers, for example for payment processing, email delivery and infrastructure. We choose them with care, share only what is necessary for them to perform their function, and remain responsible to you for the Services as a whole. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Each of us may come to learn confidential information about the other while working together. We will each keep that information in confidence and use it only for the purpose of the engagement. This continues to apply after the engagement ends.
We improve the platform continuously, and features will change over time — almost always by addition. In the rare case that we need to withdraw something you rely on, we will give you reasonable notice and help you find an alternative.
We may also update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in advance rather than quietly revising this page, and the "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
You may stop using the Services whenever you wish, as described in section 4. We would only suspend or end an account in unusual circumstances — sustained non-payment after we have been in touch, or use of the Services in a way that is unlawful or puts other customers at risk — and we would always contact you first and give you a fair opportunity to put things right.
We take the responsibility of running payroll and holding employee records seriously, and we would always rather fix a problem than argue about one. That said, and as is standard for services of this kind: the Services are provided on an "as is" basis, and our total liability in connection with them is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months preceding a claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You remain responsible for your own statutory filings and for reviewing payroll output before it is finalised. Our software does the arithmetic faithfully; the decisions stay yours.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction. Before anyone reaches for a court, we would ask that you raise the matter with us directly — in our experience very nearly everything is resolvable with a conversation.
We are a small team and we read everything that comes in.
